Feel the Magic and Mystery of Scotland: She Is A Bard
My songwriting retreat trip to Scotland in June of 2025 was incredibly inspiring. It seemed like everywhere I went, lyrics and music would pop into my head. This song captures the magic of that experience when Scotland whispered her stories into song.

Magical Mystical Oak Tree Song - I'll Be Your Shelter
I've always felt deeply connected to the spiritual energy of Oak Trees. After pulling an Oracle card from Denise Linn's Sacred Destiny deck about the protection of Oak Trees, I wrote this song with my dear friend Eloise Armstrong. Hope you enjoy the strength and grounding energy.
Cathedral of Time - A song about the sacred energy of the Grand Canyon
In May of 2025, I had the incredible experience of 6 days white water rafting in the Grand Canyon and then hiking back to the rim. We were greeted by four California Condors (there's only 200 of them left in the world). It was a truly transformative experience. The beauty and flow was so powerful, I couldn't help but be present. This is another co-write with the amazing Eloise Armstrong.

Yellowstone - Wild and Wondrous Winter Song
This song was inspired by an adventure tour in Yellowstone National Park where I experienced the wonder of witnessing these Bison you'll see in the video as well as the natural beauty of the park including geysers, hot springs, mud pots, ice-covered trees, swans, waterfalls and more.
Forged by Fire was inspired by a Writer's Round San Diego prompt, Fools Gold and an Oracle card about Glastonbury, England. Fools Gold led to iron ore, which led to steel, which led to Forged swords and how the more that they are fired, bent and stressed, the stronger they are. I felt like that was a great metaphor for a long-lasting love. I set that scene in Glastonbury with the magic and mystery of it.
"Because You're You" - A Song For The Ones You Love
I was reflecting on my daughter, Kira and how special she is and started to write this song about the special moments in her life and how much I love her because of who she is. This song is all about loving someone exactly as they are. Huge thanks to my friend, Joanie Pointer who co-wrote this song with me.

Inspired by the prompt, California, I wrote this love song about my decision to move to California back in 1986 to be with my husband and what a great decision it was. Staying married for more than 33 years is never easy but, "no matter how rough the road is or what's in our way, no matter how hard it gets, we always find a way. We always make it through. I love you, Kevin!!
