Musical Roots & Influences
Amy grew up singing along to Carole King, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, and Ella Fitzgerald. Those early influences continue to shape her sound today, weaving through her evocative lyrics, soaring melodies, and expressive voice.
Her style blends elements of roots rock, folk, and soul, with a voice that carries both strength and vulnerability. There is a dynamic range in her music, from tender and intimate to powerful and uplifting, always grounded in emotional truth.

The Heart of Her Songwriting
Music has always been a place of refuge and understanding for Amy.
She has turned to it through some of life’s most painful experiences, using it as a way to process, to heal, and to find hope and new perspective.
She began songwriting later in life, at the age of 50, during a yoga retreat in Idyllwild, California. It was there that she wrote her first song, “We Shared Music,” in honor of her mother.
Her mother struggled with alcoholism, drugs, and toxic relationships, and passed away tragically at the age of 60. Yet even through the challenges of her childhood, some of Amy’s most cherished memories are rooted in music they shared together. Singing and harmonizing along to albums, and laughing while making up silly lyrics over spiked hot cocoa on a winter beach.
That experience opened the door to something deeper. A calling to write songs that hold both the pain and the beauty of life, and to offer that truth to others.

Finding Her Voice
Amy’s path into music hasn’t been linear.
She began performing later in life, stepping onto the stage with her cover band, Amy and The Unknown. It was a powerful chapter where she found her voice, her confidence, and her love of connecting with a live audience.
That experience became a bridge into her work as a songwriter and recording artist, where she began sharing her own stories and inner world through original music. And now, Amy's stepping up as producer and sound engineer to be able to release and share more of her music.

What She’s Creating Now
As Amy approached her 60th birthday, the call to share her music grew stronger.
What began as a personal and creative exploration has become a deeper offering. A way to connect, to uplift, and to create meaningful impact through music.
Her debut releases reflect themes of transformation, resilience, and coming home to oneself. Her first single, “Dragonfly,” was inspired by the symbolic and spiritual meaning of this ancient, magical creature. A reminder of transformation, lightness, and the beauty of rising into a new chapter at exactly the right time.
Today, Amy continues to write, record, and share music that speaks to the heart, blending storytelling with soul and spirit.

There’s so much joy and pain and sorrow in the way she delivers her extraordinarily beautiful vocals! Her songs are brave and intimate and a direct conduit to her soul”
